When you sign up or are added to a Vantage account, we collect:
Vantage is a project management platform. Data you enter into the product — including project details, proposals, schedules, procurement records, job costing, change orders, client information, photos, floor plans, and documents — is stored on your behalf. This data belongs to you.
We collect standard technical information including IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and feature usage. This data is used to operate, improve, and secure the platform.
Vantage optionally integrates with your Google account via OAuth 2.0. We request only the permissions your workflow requires. You can revoke access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Google Calendar — We read and write calendar events to sync project milestones, installation schedules, and appointments with your team's calendar.
Google Contacts — We read your contacts to help you quickly find and assign customers, GCs, and vendors already in your address book.
Gmail (Send only) — We send emails on your behalf — such as proposals, invoices, and project notifications — using your connected Google address. We do not read your inbox.
Google Drive (File access & metadata) — We access files and folders you explicitly select within Drive, and read folder/file names so you can browse and map a Drive folder to your company file storage. We do not access Drive files you haven't selected.
Vantage's use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to serve advertising, and we do not sell or share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to operate the features described above.
We do not use your data to train AI models, sell to third parties, or serve advertising.
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following categories of service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the platform:

Vantage is a multi-tenant platform. Each tenant's data is logically isolated using row-level security. No tenant can access another tenant's data. Your business data — projects, customers, employees, and documents — is visible only to users within your own account.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days before deletion to allow for reactivation or data export. You may request immediate deletion by contacting [email protected].
Google-sourced data (calendar events, contacts cached for display, Drive metadata) is not retained beyond your active session and is not stored long-term in our database.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, row-level database security, and service role key isolation for backend operations. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Vantage is a professional business platform and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify active account holders by email.
